Overview

Goolburri Domestic Assistance Service (DA) assists clients/elders to remain independent in their own home. We assist with essential daily tasks that the client/elders are unable to perform but are necessary to maintain hygiene and safety standards in the home environment.

Services

Domestic Assistance services including:

• Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors
• Cleaning bathroom and toilet
• Hanging out washing or bringing in washing
• Cleaning and tidying kitchen
• Stripping bed linen and making the bed

Client Contribution Fee

• From $5/hr
• Payment at completion of job, or unless otherwise advised
• Payment may be made via cash, card or bank transfer

General Information

• All cleaning products and equipment are to be provided by the client/elder in good working order for the Direct Care Worker to use. This prevents the risk of injury to the client/elder and Direct Care Worker.
• The Direct Care Worker will service the area that the elder uses. In shared spaces, the worker will only service the elder’s bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and lounge room.
• A Direct Care Worker will be responsive to the clients/elders needs.
