Goolburri’s QIP accredited Oral Health Care service provides culturally safe, affordable, and high-quality dental care through a single-chair surgery and two mobile vans, offering accessible treatment for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and the wider community. Supported through key government funding and partnerships that aim to Close the Gap in oral health outcomes. We prioritise prevention, early intervention, and education to support long-term oral health and wellbeing. We understand that many clients may feel anxious or have had limited access to dental care before, our team strives to create positive and welcoming experiences that build trust and comfort. Please note: cosmetic procedures, including orthodontics are not provided.

Fees

For Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients, a subsidized rate per appointment applies. For non-Indigenous patients, 75% of the minimum Australian Dental Association rate applies. Please contact our reception team for further details or if you have any questions regarding fees.

Appointment

Appointments are preferred; however, on the day toothache ache appointments are available by calling reception at 8:30am. If you miss an appointment or cancel less than 24 hours in advance, a non-attendance fee will apply. This must be paid before booking a new appointment. Referrals

You don’t need a referral to access our services – anyone is welcome to reach out directly. However, we also accept referrals from GPs, healthcare professionals, community organisations or other service providers.

Medicare Bulk Billing

We can bulk bill eligible patients under the Medicare Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS). If you receive Family Tax Benefit A or other Centrelink benefits for your children, they may also qualify. Our team can check your child’s eligibility using your Medicare card before treatment begins, or you can confirm eligibility yourself by calling Medicare on 132 011.

Transport

We provide transport. All bookings must be made through reception at least 24 hours before the appointment. When booking, clients are required to provide their pick-up location and must be ready and waiting at the agreed time and place. Please note that transport services are not available after 4:30pm and only available within a 10 km radius of the Toowoomba CBD.
